Ann Kaiser Stearns received awards for “Excellence in Teaching” from Loyola University Maryland, Johns Hopkins University, and the Maryland Psychological Association and is a Professor of Behavioral Science at the Community College of Baltimore County. She is an author of three books, “Living Through Personal Crisis” (published in seven languages), “Redefining Aging – A Caregiver’s Guide to Living Your Best Life” (Johns Hopkins University Press), and “Stereotype Threat: What Kind of an ‘Old Person’ Will I / Will You Become?” and has appeared on radio and television stations nationwide.
